The West Highland Way is a spectacular area in Scotland. A worthwhile trip that, takes you from just North of Glasgow to the idyllic location of Fort William. The West Highland Way map continues on from Balmaha, in the direction of Rowardennan, then to Inverarnan. The starting point to walk up Ben Lomond is located in Rowardennan if you are feeling like adding something else into your trip. Also, the next stop of Inverarnan includes a lot of historical sites! Past this area, the West Highland Way map continues towards Crainlarich. Another optional stop of the West Highland Way route, the small village links central and north-west Scotland. However, the original route continues from Inverarnan to Tyndrum, passing Crainlarich.

Reaching the Glencoe area, there is the option to explore Bridge of Orchy and Inveroran. The dramatic landscape surrounding the area brings travellers all year around. Also, many canoeists and white water rafters use the River Orchy. And there is the option to climb up Beinn Dorain and Beinn an Dothaidh, with such easy access, this is popular with many of the walkers on the route. A great spot on the West Highland Way map and route, there every reason to spend some time here!
