The Nature Festival celebrates the National Park’s outstanding wildlife and scenery with Park-wide fun events for all ages – many of them free! Because a large part of the festival is based in Blair Atholl, near to one of our favourite walking trips in Scotland – the Cateran Trail, we thought we would detail the parts of the festival in that area we’re looking forward to!
“Muddy Paws” Open Dog Show
Saturday 14 May, 3.15pm
Fun dog show with prizes for various categories, including Waggiest Tail, Most Fashionable and Judge’s Favourite. Free Wildlife Quiz Sheet.

Requirements: Dogs on lead. Donations collected for SARDA – Search and Rescue Dog Association Scotland.

Wildlife in Highland Perthshire

Visit the NTS trailer for information about wildlife in Highland Perthshire, there will be a touch table with some animal skins, skulls and feathers accessible to handle as well as children’s craft activities and games.
