The Dunphail Breathing Place is located in between Grantown on Spey and Forres. Around 7 miles from Forres and 14 miles from Grantown-on-Spey. Situated behind Edinkillie community hall, the Dunphail Breathing Place is perfect for a rest in amongst the beautiful highland wildlife!
What is the Dunphail Breathing Place?
The Dunphail Breathing Place is an access point for the Dava Way route. Facilitated with a simple path network and picnic tables. As well as this, there are information boards explaining the planting work which has taken place around the Breathing Place and another explaining the history of the site.

Things to do in the area
In this area there is lots to do! Visitor attractions including the Forres Museum and the Grantown on Spey Museum. Pay a visit to the Dallas Dhu Distillery or visit one of the parks nearby. The Dava Way is a great shorter route which allows you to explore the charm of Scotland. Sometimes, if you are walking a particular route, it is worthwhile to use an app! Both the Dava Way and the Moray Coastal Trail are lovely routes in the area! The Moray Coastal trail is beautiful for seeing Scotland’s stunning east coast sea view, with 4 days walking your trip will be one to remember. However, if you are thinking of the Dava Way it is shorter at 2 days walking and in completely different forestry surrounding. The walks near Grantown on Spey are very varied.
