What is geocaching?

No matter where you are in Scotland, geocaching is an extremely popular activity!

Described best as an outdoor treasure hunting game, which is based around the use of GPS navigation. Using a smartphone, tablet or another GPS enabled device geocachers try and find hidden geocaches all over the globe. The caches located contain a logbook and some sort of treasure – toys or something with little value.
