Easyways secured decent accommodation for every night and the people working there were friendly and helpful. The guidebook and OS maps were very useful and the JoG route, while sometimes challenging, is largely well-signposted, has plenty of bridges and stiles and takes walkers to some stunning beautiful places.

I recently completed the West Highland Way with EasyWays, and I can’t recommend them enough! From start to finish, the experience was seamless and stress-free, allowing me to fully enjoy the beauty and adventure of Scotland’s most famous long-distance walk.

The EasyWays team took care of all the logistics, including booking comfortable accommodations and arranging baggage transfers between each stop. Every hotel and guesthouse I stayed at was welcoming, clean, and perfectly located along the route. It was such a relief to know my bags would be waiting for me at the end of each day—one less thing to worry about after a full day of hiking!

What really stood out was the attention to detail and personalised service. The comprehensive information pack provided before my journey was full of useful tips, detailed maps, and a clear itinerary that made navigation a breeze. Whenever I had a question, the team was quick to respond with friendly and helpful advice.

Walking the West Highland Way is a bucket-list adventure, and EasyWays made it all the more special by handling the planning so I could focus on the incredible scenery, from the dramatic peaks of Glencoe to the serene shores of Loch Lomond. This was my first walking holiday, and I’m already looking forward to booking my next trip with them.

If you’re looking for a hassle-free walking experience where everything is taken care of, I wholeheartedly recommend EasyWays. Their expertise and thoughtful planning made this one of the most memorable trips of my life!

Had a fantastic experience using EasyWays Walking Scotland earlier this year. Highly recommend this company.

From start to finish, everything ran so smoothly. The accommodations were lovely and we couldn't fault the selection EasyWays booked for us. We will definitely book with them again.

I do treks almost every year since 2005, i have seen all types of services some very good some less. Easyways is not one of the best and why:
1. Payments are made in a way that you do not know exactly what you will get until after you pay, you get a general program and then refunds are not easyways. read the small letters!!
2. In case of no accommodation, they offer a transport with bus or taxi to a different location. in our case taxi was delayed for a very long time ended in very late arrival to the gust house.
3. In accurate place of the first luggage pickup

From planning our West Highland Way walk months ago to the very end, Easyways (especially Jackie) were exceptionally friendly, helpful and efficient. Every stage of the walk went perfectly, even on the day our tired legs made us very late for meeting Ian the patient driver (please thank him, Jackie). We recommend Easyways unreservedly!

Easyways is the company you never knew you needed. They take care of all the stressful planning of your walking holiday. They offer a huge range of wonderful walking trails across Scotland. The company book all your accommodation with a range of bnbs with pure Scottish hospitality and some stunning hotels.
They arrange for your luggage to the shifted from accommodation to accommodation so all you need to do is focus in your walk. They arrange any necessary transfers. They take out all the stress of planning popular tours like the West Highland Way. However if your have special requirements they are able to tailor tours to suit your needs. They can help you arrange for dogs/young children to travel with you based on accommodation that can host these requirements. Either fill in an enquiry form via thier website or send the team an email. Poor accommodatiin on the Moray Firth Walk. Failed to pick up my suitcase for our last day walking the Great Glen Way - didn't bother to speak to hotel staff despite picking up two suitcases every other day. Rang Easyways who just gave the mobile number for the driver. Neither got back to me. Accommodation away from the beginning and end of each day's walking - other walkers were in hotels etc without the extra walking. Hosts really rated but overall overpriced and let down by poor service when it was needed.

Together with a friend, I have undertaken numerous self-guided long distance walks over the past 10 years or so. We originally found Easyways through an internet search and are very pleased that we did so. The procedure is very straightforward - just select your itinerary and they do the rest for a reasonable fee. All accommodation, bag transfer etc. is arranged and a Tour Pack is sent out, with all the information, including how to find the accommodation, where to eat and drink and so on.
We have been very happy with the standard of accommodation over the years.
The staff at Easyways are great to deal with - friendly and helpful and the whole process is entirely painless.
In a nutshell, we automatically turn to Easyways when considering a long walk - wouldn't go anywhere else!

Travel and Arrival Day.

Arrive Split Airport where you will have a private transfer to your accommodation leaving you the afternoon and evening free to enjoy the sights and sounds on the Old Town

Thanks to its many former rulers (Roman, Austrian, and Yugoslav, to name a few), Split is a European city unlike any other through a mix of architecture and history on every cobblestoned corner.

Ancient ruins, open-air flea markets, centuries-old cathedrals —it’s a city seemingly frozen in time  set against the Adriatic Sea.

The Riva, known as Split’s living room, is the city’s seaside promenade and a popular place to have an espresso and watch the world go by.

Overnight Split

The morning begins by taking the ferry for the short crossing to the island of Hvar, unusual in the area for having a large fertile coastal plain, and fresh water springs. Its hillsides are covered in pine forests, vineyards, olive groves, fruit orchards and lavender fields in the agricultural areas.

On arrival you will be met by your hotel representative  at the port of Hvar and directed to the hotel selected for your stay for the next two nights.  After depositing your luggage the day is available to explore the walking routes located in the north/west corner of the island in and around the old town centre of Hvar.

One example is the coastal route to the town Milna and back including the option to take the longer return route to explore the rural area, passing by Malo Grablje and Old Olive Gardens.

All routes are available within the Guibo GPS Map Application, part of your EasyWays Tour Pack.

Overnight Hvar.

A second day on Hvar allows and early morning ascent to the Fortica fortress overlooking the Old Town harbour of Hvar offering wonderful views over the Adriatic to the Palenki Islands.

Overnight Hvar.

Today you will take the ferry to the island of Korcula and the village of Lumbarda.

Time permitting you will walk an afternoon walk on the path above the village along the Lumbarda coast line, passing sandy beaches and vineyards. You will enjoy spectacular views to the open sea and island of Lastovo.

The sixth-largest island in Croatia, Korcula is 32 km long and rather narrow, between 6 and 8 km wide on average. This island is known for its dense forest and the ancient Greeks called the island Black Korcula (Kerkyra Melaina) for this reason.

Lumbarda is a village and a municipality located on the eastern tip of the island of 7 km   away from the town of Korcula by a road passing through a picturesque area of pine woods and olive groves connects these two places.  The town has a rich history preserved in written documents dating back to more than 2,000 years ago.

Overnight Lumbarda

Today, after breakfast, you will walk from the village of Lumbarda, through olive groves and countryside to the town of Korcula. This coastal path will take you to the town Soline, where you will hike the hill to St Anthony church. There are 102 steps to reach the summit where the St Anthony abbot sits.

From there you will continue to Korcula, where you can explore the narrow streets, cathedrals and museums of the Old Town, which is the birthplace of Marco Polo before returning to Lumbarda by the same route.

Overnight Lumbrada

This morning you leave Korcula island, taking the ferry to Mljet island. This beautiful island is the greenest location in Croatia and famously protected as a National Park, where two salt lakes and many historical monuments date back to ancient times.

Mljet is the most forested and the eighth largest island in Croatia, encompassing an area of approximately 100 km2 and having a population of around 1100 people. It was named by the Ancient Greeks who called it Melita which means honey.

After receiving your National Park tickets you will make your way from Pomena to the Lakes.  Take lunch at the wonderful setting of the Benedictine Monastery of St Mary where the excellent Restaurant Melita.is located.

It is possible to hire both conventional and electric bikes in Pomena and combine walking with cycling to the more remote areas of the island.

Overnight Pomena.

Today the walk available is from Pomena to the peak of Montokuc, which is 250m above sea level where you can enjoy the most wonderful view panoramic view over the island to the sea beyond.

Alternatively there is a walk to Polače, an ancient Roman settlement on the north of the island off the National Park route.

Overnight Pomena

On this day you will travel by ferry from Mljet to Dubrovnik Port where we will spend the last night of the tour.

A representative will meet us on arrival with transfer to the selected overnight accommodation leaving time free to explore the Old Town and beyond.

Today you will be returning to the Dubrovnik Airport by private transfer for your journey home.
