Are you looking to walk the West Highland Way? The West Highland Way Trail is Scotland’s premier walking route linking the Central Lowlands with the Highlands on a spectacular journey through farmland, beside lochs, across moors, through glens and over mountains. The Way begins about 12 miles from Glasgow Airport, at Milngavie, on the outskirts of Scotland’s largest city. You will pass through Mugdock Country Park, follow the shores of Loch Lomond, past Ben Lomond, through Glen Falloch and Strathfillan, cross Rannoch Moor, past Buachaille Etive Mor to the head of Glencoe, climb the Devil’s Staircase, descend to Loch Leven before entering Lairigmor and Glen Nevis and finish at Gordon Square in Fort William. To walk the West Highland Way is an experience like no other.
