The Via Francigena Route
Our Via Francigena route begins in San Miniato and ends in medieval Siena after 4 days of walking (55 miles) where you will discover an abundance of cultural and historical gems native to rural Tuscany. In July in particular, you’ll be able to experience the countless festivals dedicated Italy’s forthcoming wine harvest season, witness historical re-enactments like the Palio di Siena and the Mercantia, a street art festival which takes place in Certaldo.
What’s New for 2019?
Do you have experience of walking in Scotland but are a bit hesitant to try the same abroad? EasyWays is offering an inclusive guided tour for a group of no less than 8 walkers. All you need to do is arrange a group of this size and EasyWays will manage the full tour itinerary. From UK departure to Italy and return including any optional extras you require. This is completely new for 2019 and can include extended city visits in Pisa and/or Siena, Palio tickets, wine tasting and special local dinner reservations.
