The Real Scotland

walking the west highland way north to south

West Highland Way is a completely unique walking experience!

One of the reasons that this particular walk is so popular and has gained international recognition is because it gives tourists a real insight into Scotland. Despite being only 7 days long, the route gives you a glimpse of how dynamic Scotland is. Beginning in Milngavie, a town only a couple miles from Glasgow, and finishing in the highland town of Fort William, you come across villages, lochs, spectacular hills, historical sites, unusual wildlife, all while heading in the direction of Scotland’s highlands.  The West Highland Way is ideal for someone with a desire to spend time experiencing the true Scotland. We will be happy to book some nights for you in Edinburgh on your return from Fort William, if you would like to include the Scottish capital city in your tour.
