winter walking
The autumn season is now coming to an end with winter fast approaching signalling the festive season with its fresh, crisp weather.  A truly wonderful time of year to experience Scotland’s winter walking routes and the picturesque landscapes on offer.
While baggage transfer in now unavailable and also taking into account the shorter daylight hours at this time of year, EasyWays can still help you organise a winter walk on selected routes where the terrain is less demanding.
The West Highland Way remains a popular choice all year long with many stages suitable for a short weekend break as is the Speyside Way with its beautiful scenery on the Whisky Trail that is certain to give you that warming festive feeling.

You may even wish to plan your walk around some of the fantastic winter events that Scotland has to offer.
The Pitlochry Christmas Festival is held on December 7th, and this event can be combined with the Rob Roy Way. The town takes on a festive appearance with a number of outdoor stalls and many local shops offering special discounts.
A further option is the Cateran Trail where our overnight base at Blairgowrie is only a 30 minute drive away from Perth and the Perth Winter Festival.
